INCEPTION Turns 10 years : A Day to Celebrate, Share and Inspire

Ambitious interdisciplinary research projects, addressing innovative and complex scientific questions.
Launched in 2017, the INCEPTION programme is about to close an important chapter in its history, and we want to celebrate it together.
On 25 November 2026, the Institut Pasteur will host the Final Scientific Symposium of INCEPTION. A day true to the spirit of the programme: open, rich in exchanges and rich in science!
What's on ?
Scientific conferences on a wide range of topics, presented by INCEPTION researchers and members: Thomas Bourgeron, Rayan Chikhi, Capucine Garnier-Muller, Sigolène Meilhac, Nicolas Rascovan, , Eduardo Rocha, and Fanny Sebire.
A highlight of the day: the INCEPTION Innovation Tremplin pitch competition. During this competition, six candidates (Anvita Bhargava, Maité Freire Delgado, Jean-Marc Goudet, Emmanuelle Rota Graziosi, Roberta Rapone and Guénolé Tossou) will pitch their innovative scientific projects to a jury and to the audience.
Two prizes will be awarded at the end of the competition: a jury prize and a public prize.

The day will end with a cocktail reception, to continue the conversation in a relaxed setting and foster new connections.
