Six young researchers from the Institut Pasteur have been honored with the prestigious L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science – Young Talents France 2025 award. This distinction recognizes promising early-career scientists whose work contributes to major advances in biology, medicine, and public health.
The awardees include:
Eulalie Liorzou – investigating the cellular mechanisms of uterine biology to better understand menstrual disorders in Camille Berthelot research team (INCEPTION program)
Leah Friedman – studying early embryonic cell organization and developmental robustness;
Marie Robert – advancing diagnostics for sarcoidosis and tuberculosis;
Yolène Duchaudé – developing plant-based strategies to limit the spread of the Aedes albopictus mosquito;
Marion Guérin – exploring new immunotherapeutic approaches against cancer;
Sabrina Mechaussier – researching ways to prevent the degeneration of auditory nerve cells.
